I grew up in government housing in rural Kentucky. I know what it feels like when safe, stable housing seems like something that happens to other people, people with more money, more connections, more of whatever it is you're convinced you're lacking. I carried that feeling for a long time.
Then, at 23, my wife and I bought our first home. It wasn't a perfect process. We made mistakes, including purchasing a fixer-upper because HGTV made it look a lot more manageable than it turned out to be. But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I understood what we had done. We had changed the trajectory of our lives. That realization never left me.
I got my real estate license in 2015. In the eleven years since, I've helped more than 140 clients buy and sell homes across Kentucky and Ohio. And while I'm proud of that track record, what I'm more proud of is how we got there, with honesty, with patience, and with a genuine commitment to making sure every single person I work with feels like they belong at the closing table.

For a long time I worked within an industry that wasn't always built for everyone. I saw how people were treated differently depending on who they were, where they came from, or who they loved. I experienced some of that myself. I came out later in life, in my early thirties, and I know firsthand what it means to move through the world feeling like certain spaces weren't made for you.
I started Common Ground Realty in August of 2025 because I wanted to build something different. A brokerage rooted in equality, individuality, clarity, and community. A place where every client is treated with the same respect, the same transparency, and the same level of care, regardless of their background, their identity, or their budget.
I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, an organization working to eliminate housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. I actively support the Human Rights Campaign, the Fairness Campaign, Cincinnati Pride, and Queer Kentucky. This work is personal to me. It always has been.
I live in Covington now, and I work with buyers and sellers across the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. I bring eleven years of market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a deep familiarity with both sides of the river to every transaction I'm a part of.
But beyond the experience, here is what I want you to know about working with me: I will be straight with you. I will tell you what I think, explain things clearly, and never make you feel like a question is too basic to ask. I will show up prepared, stay on top of the details, and advocate hard on your behalf from the first conversation to the day you get your keys.
A home is never just property. It is safety, stability, and for a lot of my clients, something they weren't sure they'd ever get to have. I take that seriously every single time.
Whether you're buying your first home, selling a place you've loved, or just trying to figure out where to begin, I'd love to talk. No pressure, no obligation. Just an honest conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
